AI reputation management

What do AI answers tell people about your brand?

AI reputation management examines how AI systems describe a business and which sources support those descriptions. Reditic reviews a defined sample of brand questions, documents inaccuracies, and improves the public information that customers and search systems can access.

What an AI reputation audit checks

We start with questions a prospect could ask: what your business does, whether it fits their needs, what customers report, and whether it is connected to a similarly named or previous business. Your actual customer questions are a better starting point than a large list of generic prompts.

For each sampled answer, record the system, date, exact question, response, visible citations, and relevant session context. Separate a factual error from an unflattering but accurately attributed customer opinion. An uncited claim is recorded as uncited; we do not invent a source for it.

Can a negative Reddit thread affect an AI answer?

When an answer visibly cites a Reddit discussion, that citation gives a specific source to investigate. Without a visible citation, the wording alone does not establish that a particular thread caused the answer. We distinguish observed source use from an assumption about how an AI system formed its response.

We compare the source with the generated description, identify missing context, and consider whether your own public materials clearly answer the same question.

What can be improved?

  • Business identity: a consistent name, website, services, and factual company history.
  • Source clarity: accessible pages answering concrete customer questions with evidence.
  • Technical accessibility: crawlable text, working internal links, and structured data that matches visible content.
  • Corrections: appropriate source corrections or feedback for documented inaccuracies.

These changes improve the information available for discovery. They do not grant control over an AI system or guarantee that it will cite your website.

How do you measure AI reputation progress?

Repeat an agreed question set and compare descriptions, factual accuracy, visible citations, and the presence of priority concerns. Keep prompt wording and test context consistent where possible, while noting that responses can still change.

A single favorable answer is not a permanent result. Reports include both improvements and unresolved issues, alongside the source and content work completed during that period.

How does this fit with SEO and ongoing reputation work?

Google states that established SEO practices remain relevant to its AI search features; pages need to be eligible for search and useful to readers. There is no special AI schema required for inclusion. See Google’s guidance on AI features and websites.

Reditic includes sampled AI answer checks within ongoing reputation management, starting at $2,500 per month with a 3-month minimum. The proposal specifies the questions, systems, review cadence, and content scope. No placement, citation count, or favorable answer is guaranteed.
